Are we able to carry out visual inspections on plant other than that hired in the Marwood range?

We can only carry out visual inspections on our own equipment.

If I do not have an account with Marwood Group Ltd, can I get these items through another Plant Hire Company, who in turn, will get the items from Marwood Group?

Yes, if that company has an account with Marwood Group then there is no problem.

Do we offer a service where we can lay mats, and retrieve them , on sites?

Yes, we are able to offer a laying and up-lifting service for mats, costings would be advised when quotation requested.

Do we offer Free Site Vists?

Yes, we can arrange to attend customers sites to provide more specific help with regards to the type of equipment required.

Is there a delivery/transport charge, and how much?

Yes there are delivery costs, but will depend on the location, and equipment hired.

Can we obtain Sale prices for any item of Non-Mechanical Plant?

Yes we are able to obtain Sale Prices for Non-Mechanical Plant items which do not appear in our Product Guides.

Will equipment come with certification?

Where relevant, all equipment will be supplied with a Declaration of Conformity or a Report of Thorough Examination.

Can we cross-hire items for customers?

Unfortunately, we are unable to Cross-Hire items for our customers.

Is there a cleaning charge?

This will depend on the condition of the equipment when it is off-hired and returned to us, as well as how long it was on hire for.

How much notice do we need to give?

1 to 24 hours, subject to stock availability.

Can we obtain mechanical plant, through Marwood Group, on a one-off basis?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any type of Mechanical Plant.

Can we use a single Marwood depot as an ordering point for jobs anywhere in the country?

Yes, all of our depots are capable of taking an order for anywhere in the country, but they would have to confirm the delivery costs with the local depot delivering the order.

Do you manufacture plant?

Yes, we can manufacture plant for customers but we would require a full specification drawing.
