Timber Sleepers

Available for Hire & Purchase

All sleepers are of sound quality for various uses within the construction industry. They are creosoted and must be handled with gloves. Standard railway sleepers are approx 2500/600mm x 225/250mm x 150/125mm. For customers wishing to purchase, we can supply either used pine softwood, which has been creosoted, or new hardwood sleepers ( subject to availability). We also offer a cutting service if required.

Safety Tip: The use of gloves to handle creosoted sleepers is essential to avoid skin contact.

  • Safety requirement: European Commission Directive 2001/90/EC restricts the supply of creosoted timber for some uses including See Main Bullet Points Below.
