Testimonials

Paul Charity (Senior Contracts Manager) from Langley Civil Engineering Ltd: We purchased a number of Plastic Pile Trench Sheets for a job that had difficult access, and additionally had and archaeological interest, along with the added problem of a live badger sett close by. With your product we eliminated the problems of traditionally driving sheets, along with the logistic problems in getting to the site. Our work force found them easy to install and robust enough to offer the protection required. We would recommend this product to others in the industry, and will definitely look to use these  more often.

Lisa O’Halloran (Buyer) from Rossco Civil Engineering : I appreciate the service your company provides, always very prompt with collections and deliveries and it’s a big help to us that you also send us copies of collection/delivery notes. Also thank you for the courtesy calls to let us know everything has been collected and in good condition. It’s always a pleasure doing business with you and it is nice to have a cheery voice on the other end of the phone.

Susie Clifford from (Renelec): I have been a customer of Marwoods for over 10 years and have found there service excellent, the staff are always helpful and friendly and the deliveries are always on time and correct.

Eddie Barber from (Pentaco Construction): The airmat team installed airmats for Pentaco Construction at Docking. We spoke to the site agent Eddie Barber this morning who said how VERY impressed he was with them. They arrived on time, carried out the install in a professional way and did not leave until he was satisfied with the work. Please pass this information onto the install team as their conduct can only help to gain more business for your company.

Andy Dobricic (Plant Coordinator) Morgan Sindall: “The traffic barrier system did its job and we are very pleased with the service we got from your Nottingham depot, we had no problems with the equipment and if we need them again I will give you a call. Dan Cherry From Glamorgan Cricket said: “a big thank you in supplying Ekki Mats & TrakMats for the One Day International at the Glamorgan Cricket SWALEC stadium Cardiff. As Operations Manager, I must say it was great to work with a company that obviously cared about their clients.

Daniel J Coughlin ( Director) Support Air Ltd: “I have no hesitation in offering my sincere gratitude to the Marwood Group for their full support on the movement of an aircraft across a London Airport to the dockside and off the pontoon on the other side of the dock. Once repairs where carried out we then had to repeat the same plan to get the aircraft back to the runway. As the Marwood Group prepared and laid the temporary surface that enabled us to move the aircraft from the runway, should we have any need of a temporary surfaces anywhere in Europe your organization will be my first choice.”

Speedy Ass: Chris Jackson (Key Account Manager) paid a visit to the Speedy Hire Direct office. After his meeting he was given a tour around the call centre and introduced to various members of their staff. Upon meeting the AMEC desk he heard nothing but complimentary remarks for the Nottingham Depot. Namely Katie Jones, who is in regular contact with the staff in Nottingham, mentioned how helpful and efficient the staff at Nottingham are. It was said that nothing was too much trouble and they regularly went beyond the call of duty to assist.

Mike Walsh (Central Site Accomodation) “We tried to put a temporary classroom in a school near Southam, but the crane sank into the tarmac, and was in danger of toppling over into the cottages opposite. We did a site survey the same day,and got the account set up which was very quick, and installed 59 x PM5 Mats, 2 x PM3 Mats and one EM6 Mat across the grassed playing field.. The job went without a hitch and when I went in to see Mike Walsh, and the contracts manager came into the office while we were talking. Mike asked him what he thought of the temporary road. The contracts manager said “VERY GOOD. THEY DIDN’T EVEN LEAVE ANY MARKS ON THE GRASS”
