Concrete Safety Barriers are manufactured from high quality reinforced concrete and conform to all currant highway works regulations. Used to create a safe working zone between live traffic lanes and maintenance operatives or plant. Also used to provide temporary protection for bridge piers or lighting columns ect. Can be readily repositioned giving a high degree of flexibility. The universal system comprises intermediate and termination units. The symmetrical section allows intermediate units to be inverted and thereby suitable for both verge and central reserve use. Traffic flow direction should be as indicated by the arrow cast into the side of the intermediate unit. Termination units are handed and must be specified as either verge or central reserve.

Units should be bolted together using approved joining kits and where
appropriate, both the leading and the end terminators with the next three
intermediate units should be anchored to the carriageway.
