Marwood Group Ltd is a leading supplier of specialist plant to the construction and related industries. We employ staff at 17 sites throughout the UK and we now have an excellent opportunity to join our Barking Depot.

Main Purpose of Job
|
To promote, and sell the companies products, and services to both new, and existing customers in a professional manner.
Maintain existing customer base.
Increase customer base within given area.
Perform the duties as described in the Marwood Quality Procedure 34.
|
|
Main Responsibilities
|
Establish a good working relationship with customers.
Maintain a six weekly call rota of the operational area.
Make an average of 18 calls a day.
To supply customers with information and advice on the suitability of equipment available for both hire and sale.
To be cometent in explaining company products to customers.
Ensure all leads are optimised.
To establish as much general information as possible on site call. Complete call sheet accordingly.
To call on customers and potential customers by appointment organized by telesales backup.
Ensure call sheets are kept fully updated with the listed company name, phone number, contact etc.
Record leads for other depots on form MG57 and forward to Head Office for distribution.
Carry out site visits as required for fall arrest, temporary road and traffic barrier jobs. Measure site and provide quotations based on the technical requirements of the site.
Attend weekly sales meetings with depot staff to review call sheets in order to identify calls requiring follow up and setting objectives for forth coming week.
To inform London Sales Manager of any training requirements.
Maintain daily contact with depot and telesales co-ordinator.
