| Ultralift magnetic lifters are supplied with a unique safety shim. By using the safety shim, operators can be sure of a safe lift regardless of an unknown weight, a poor contact surface or an unknown alloy content. The safety shim should be inserted between the magnetic lifter and the workpiece and the load lifted approximately 25mm. Providing that the test is successful, the shim should be removed and the lifter re-applied and the lift completed. This system ensures that you have an applied safe factor of 3:1. |
