Marwood Group Ltd was established in the early 1970's as Marwood Plant Hire, a family run concern which specialised in hiring Compressors and Air Tools to construction and utility companies.
 
During the years that followed several niche products were added to the range and in the late 1980's a decision was taken to re-launch the company as Marwood Group Ltd a specialist Non Mechanical plant hire company.
 
The Marwood Group is a well established and respected company within in the plant hire industry. We now supply a wide range of non-mechanical plant, lifting equipment and safety equipment to a diverse customer base throughout the UK.
 
The company reputation has been built by employing professional staff and supplying quality equipment at realistic prices. Our management structure ensures we have the ability to adapt and react quickly to customer demands. We aim to supply any product from our range in any quantity anywhere in the UK, on time every time.
 
Our head office is based at Beckton in East London and we currently have fourteen strategically placed satellite depots around the UK and we plan to open further depots in other areas. We currently employ approx. 100 well trained professional staff and this number is expected to increase in future years.
 
We use BS EN ISO9001, BS EN ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and the "Investor in People" standards to systematically plan and implement this Quality, Health & Safety and Environment policy. Marwood Group Ltd are accredited to the BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Standard and recognised Investor in People (IIP) for staff training and development.
